Ah, the good old days! Friendship with ourselves and each other is more necessary than ever…

If you are reading this then we are sharing a path, at least for a few moments…welcome – It’s lovely to have you here!

A sense of connection is what we all long for. Because we are human mammals connection, in some form or other, soothes. It comforts us to know we are not alone in how we are feeling, that we are understood, that the ups and downs we are going through make sense…The loss of this is one of the aspects of the pandemic impact that is causing so much distress and pain.

Mindfulness and Mindful Self-Compassion are healing nurturing approaches that resource us to meet this need within ourselves, and then also for each other. Isn’t that more necessary now than ever?

I’m offering workshops and courses (new dates added) open to all, and plenty of opportunities to support your daily practice as we go into this uncertain autumn…online for now and hoping to offer face to face again soon…

I look forward to seeing you in the ways that we can right now – online works well for these offerings I hope you’ll give it a try.

Drawing on Dr. Rick Hanson’s ‘Taking in the Good’ programme based on neuroscience, this workshop will introduce you to ways to grow inner strengths and resilience, cultivate a more realistically optimistic outlook, and increase positive mood and a sense of self worth.

This is a Mindfulness Project event, all welcome, no mindfulness experience required.

Forgiveness Evening Workshop

Take the plunge!

An introduction to the various stages of forgiveness through the Mindful Self-Compassion model, including short meditations, exercises, contemplations and discussion. Explore the steps you can take to forgive yourself and forgive others with a view to finding more peace in your life.

Apprehensive about learning online? here is one participant’s experience…

Thank you for today’s online practice – it was wonderful! I approached the session with a mixture of hope, fear and excitement. I was sceptical and concerned that somehow the technology would be more of a barrier than an enabler.  In the event, the experience for me was overwhelmingly positive; I felt very connected, to you and the other participants, and yet also able to focus on my own practice. I found the break-out session very moving and enriching.  The enormous collective challenge we are facing is also bringing unexpected benefits: new ways of being, of connecting, of discovering our shared humanity.
