The 8-week Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction course (MBSR) taught over 10 sessions is an excellent way to gain a solid foundation in mindfulness. You will learn a whole range of meditation and awareness practices that can be integrated into your daily life. This standardised course has been carefully devised and is clinically proven as beneficial for a range of physical and psychological problems, overall increasing a sense of joy, presence and wellbeing.

BOOKING PROCESS

To apply for a place please complete the booking form below, along with a deposit of £50.

Once I’ve received your booking form and deposit I will send you a few more questions to answer via email and arrange a brief telephone introduction with you. Attendance at the orientation session (April 27th) is advised if not we will do on phone.  In some circumstances it may not be advisable to engage in training at a particular time in your life (eg experiencing acute depression, suffering a recent significant bereavement or trauma). In the event that taking the course might not be advisable, a full refund of any monies paid would of course be made.

The course fee includes: pre course telephone orientation, 10 group sessions, a handbook and all guided meditations on Soundcloud which you can access online or App. I also offer adhoc brief telephone support during all courses.

Once your place is confirmed the £50 deposit is non-refundable. The remaining course fee is to be paid at latest a week before course starts, or by the due date specified for retreats. Fees are non-refundable once the course has started – however if there is a space in a subsequent course it may be possible to repeat the programme.

I am always happy to discuss if you are unsure whether to apply or have any particular queries before doing so. NB I try to offer a limited number of spaces at reduced fees for those experiencing financial hardship – please feel welcome to ask for more details.

If you have any difficulties during a course it is important that you tell me so I can guide you more effectively.   Please also realise that you need to take responsibility for yourself, and seek your own appropriate support if necessary. We can discuss this on the orientation call.
